5 Questions To Help You Write A Better Protagonist.

5 Questions To Help You Write A Better Protagonist.

Every story has a Protagonist. He\she’s an essential character in the story. It is the character we follow through the various challenges presented throughout the story. So before writing your novel, make sure to nail down the Protagonist.

Consider these five questions when writing your Protagonist.

1- Desire. What is the Protagonist seeking? What’s he\she trying to achieve?

2- Weakness. What are their flaws?

3- Voice. How do they speak? What do they think? Do they sound aggressive, kind, funny, etc…

4- Conflict. What is standing between them and their goal?

5- Change. How does their story end? What type of change do they go through?

Make sure you have the answers ready before you start writing. Then, I guarantee that the quality of your Protagonist and the overall work will significantly increase.
